Easter egg hunt scheduled for Saturday

Grab your bunny ears and Easter baskets. The Peachtree City Fire and Rescue Department, Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church and Peachtree City Optimist Club will host an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at Shakerag Knoll.

Registration is 9-10 a.m. for children ages 1-11.

At 9 a.m., the Easter Bunny will make his stop at Shakerag Knoll, located across from the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater, and children are urged to come and meet the bunny.

In addition to the hunt, there will be face painting, prizes, games and fun galore. Children also can come check out a few of the department’s fire trucks that will be on display.
