Bad Links? | Tigers remain unbeatenFayette Countys varsity baseball team picked up three more wins and stayed undefeated. In a doubleheader against West Nassau, the Tigers won 7-2 in the first game and 16-0 in the second game. Phillip Robinson went six innings in the first with Matt Clark pitching the seventh. Dan Cooper hit a homerun in the win. In the second game, Cooper took the mound and got the win, while Ricky Williams hit an in the park homerun. On Tuesday, Fayette County defeated Jonesboro 9-1. The Tigers got a three run home run from Mark Owens and two doubles from David Owens, who went 4-for-4 at the plate. Drew Ward pitched a complete game in the win. Fayette County will play Shaw in Columbus on Monday. After games against Parkview and North Gwinnett, the Tigers will begin the region schedule on Apr. 1.
