What do you think of this story? Bad Links? | Big bang, big questionsInside Oppenheimer
Atlantas Actors Express presents the regional premiere of The Love Song of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Carson Kreitzer. Directed by Artistic Director, Jasson Minadakis the play centers around Oppenheimer: physicist, genius and lover-- the man who built the bomb. In this poetic mixture of truth and fantasy, Oppenheimer meets a mythical femme fatale and confronts soldiers and spies; cocktails and Communists; women and war. Oppenheimers rise and fall erupts in a kaleidoscopic play that explores questions of faith, conscience and the consequences of the never-ending pursuit of knowledge. The Love Song of J. Robert Oppenheimer has been called "an unforgettable theater experience, that leaves one humbled and disturbed, awed by the human capacity to create and destroy from our broken hearts and, ultimately, mysterious Spirit." The cast includes John Ammerman as Oppenheimer, Jeff Feldman as Lansdale/Teller, Theo Harness as Rabi/Groves/Security One/ Hoover, Tess Malis Kincaid as Lilith, Rachel Roberts as Jean, Joe Sykes as Young Scientist, and Kathleen Wattis as Kitty.
