St. Marys, Cokes Chapel set joint serviceSt. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and Cokes Chapel United Methodist Church, next door neighbors on Lower Fayetteville Road in Sharpsburg, will celebrate a joint Palm Sunday service at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, March 20. The service will be held near the pond on St. Marys property, 4046 Lower Fayetteville Road. St. Marys will host a later Sunday service and Mass at 10 a.m. at East Coweta High School on Ga. Hwy. 154 in Sharpsburg. Community Good Friday service plannedThe annual community Good Friday service will be held at noon, Friday, March 25, at the First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City on Willowbend Road. Pastors from six Peachtree City churches will speak on The Seven Last Words of Christ and congregational singing will be interspersed throughout the service.
