The Rock to offer multimedia study on the Gospel of MarkThe Rock Baptist Church in north Fayette County will feature Dr. Johnny L. Wilson in a free multimedia seminar on the Gospel of Mark Sunday, March 20, at 7 p.m.. The session will feature a short filmed monologue on the demoniac from Mark 5 and animated PowerPoint slides enhancing a study from the Greek text of Mark 5. Wilson has a Ph.D. in Old Testament studies and completed his outside area in Roman history at the University of Kentucky. The former editor of Computer Gaming World, Wilson is a well-known computer game historian and has appeared on ABCs Good Morning America, the History Channel, CNN and the early Fox networks weekly technology show at noon. He says his love of computer games led to his development of the Wytte Media Bible, a multimedia series of study guides featuring new translations from Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, as well as a CD-ROM full of video, slides, and printable puzzles and worksheets to enhance the studies. The Rock Baptist Church is at 1392 Sandy Creek Road, just off Ga. Hwy. 74 near the Fulton-Fayette County line. |
