Gaddy named top instructor by Georgia Association of RealtorsWade E. Gaddy, Jr., the director and principal instructor of The Gaddy School, a real estate and appraisal pre-licensing school in Peachtree City, has received the prestigious Georgia Association of Realtors Instructor Of The Year Award. The true significance of this award is that the recipient is selected by the students, most of whom are practicing Realtors throughout the state. The award is based on student evaluations and is presented to the Realtors Partners In Education Program instructor with the highest average score on student evaluations throughout the year. This is the second major honor received by Gaddy. In 2003 he was certified by the Appraiser Qualification Board of the Appraisal Foundation in Washington, D.C., as a Certified USPAP Instructor. Gaddy is one of only eight such certified instructors in the state. The USPAP is the Uniform Standards Of Professional Appraisal Practice, and successful completion of the course is mandatory for becoming registered, licensed or certified as a real estate appraiser. When Gaddy is not teaching courses for the Georgia Association of Realtors or the Appraisal Foundation, he can be found in his classroom at The Gaddy School in Peachtree City teaching either a pre-licensing real estate course for prospective real estate salespeople or a pre-classification appraisal class for those students desiring to become appraisers. Gaddy has taught real estate for over 30 years, authored four real estate text books, and has been a featured real estate lecturer for the South Carolina Association of Realtors, the Kentucky Real Estate Commission, and the Alabama Real Estate Commission.
