She was born Oct. 24, 1917 in Ozona, Texas. She was preceded in death by husbands, James M. Baggett, whom she married in 1935 and died in 1975, and Wally V. Miller, who died in 1984. She was a member of Peachtree City United Methodist Church, the UMW Ruth Circle, and the Ad Loy Ho Sunday School Class. She enjoyed bridge, fishing, golf, dancing, reading and traveling. Services were at the Peachtree City United Church with interment at Westminster Memorial Cemetery, Peachtree City. Survivors include a son, James Monroe Baggett IV, Grantville; daughters, Anne and Duane Oswald, Fayetteville, and Sally B. Griffis, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Tom and Teri Oswald, Barnesville, Carol and J. R. Graham, and Kim and Matt Erwine, all of Peachtree City, Steve and Joanna Oswald, Douglasville, Sarah and Charlie Dees, Winchester, Va., Mitty and Frank Mirrer, Providence, R. I., Brandi and Larry Chu, Mt. Laurel, N. J., Troy Jeffcoat, Leander, Texas, and Ryder and Kelly Baggett, Brownwood, Texas; many great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Nina Caruana Mikus, Fayetteville; daughters, Sateana and Eric Vanzanten, Canton, and Tonia and Darrell Hatfield, Fayetteville; sisters, Mary Mikus, and Irene Mkkus, Detroit, Mich., and Ethel Yuch, Fla.; and grandchildren, Michel Vanzanten, Elena Vanzanten, and Samantha Hatfield. He was born Nov. 22, 1940 in Fulton County. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Mick Rainford officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include children, Barbara Southerland, Griffin, John Lorton, Hogansville, and Vickie Lorton and Elizabeth Hong, both of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Mark and Michelle Southerland, Jonathan and Jadon Hong, and David Schmidt; a brother, Dan and Joyce Lorton; and Mary Yates Lorton, and Patricia Morgan Lorton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Theodore W. Thomas, who died in October, 2000, at the age of 98. Memorial services were at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church with interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Caldwell, N. J. Survivors include sons, Theodore Ted and Sandra Thomas, Peachtree City, and David J. and Susan Thomas, Boonton, N. J.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Lickfield, Newport Richey, Fla.; and three nieces. Marina MartinezMarina Nina Martinez, 70, Fayetteville, died March 2, 2005. She was born April 3, 1934 in Los Angeles County, Calif. She worked in the Sanchez School in Norwalk, Calif. for 26 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts shows, traveling, and collecting recipe books. Services were at St. John of God Catholic Church with interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Calif. Survivors include her husband, Andrew Martinez, Fayetteville; sons, Ernest Andrew Martinez, Norwalk, Calif., and Fredrick and Lorraine Martinez, LaMiranda, Calif.; a daughter, Grace and Stafford Saxton, Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; a brother, Ramon Cuevaz, Norwalk, Calif.; and a sister, Angie Oliva, Norwalk, Calif.
