Richard McCormickRichard Rick McCormick, 42, Fayetteville, died Feb. 18, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident earlier this year. He was born Jan. 3, 1963 in Tarrytown, N. Y. He moved to Georgia in 1987. He was a foreman for Brent Scarbrough Construction Company. An avid sportsman, he loved to play basketball, golf, his saxophone and listening to music. He was a member of Brooks United Methodist Church. Memorial services were at the Brooks United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Scholfield officiating. Survivors include his wife, Lesia McCormick, Fayetteville; parents, Ted and Joanne McCormick, Ridgefield, Conn.; sons, John and Gillian Knost, McDonough, Andy Knost, and Matt Knost, both of Fayetteville; and a brother, Ted and Cheryl McCormick, Berlin, N.
