Bad Links? | Teens hurt when cart flipsBy LEE WILLIAMS A 15-year-old Peachtree City teen driver and a teen passenger were injured Monday in Santalina Park when they were thrown from a golf cart after it flipped three times. The teen whose name is withheld because he is a minor was reportedly driving recklessly along the golf cart path about 6 p.m. when the accident occurred, witnesses told Peachtree City police. The teen was traveling southbound in a 1998 Ezgo golf cart on the Baneberry Road cart path in the park in a reckless manner when he lost control of the vehicle. The golf cart flipped about three times before coming to a final rest on the drivers side, authorities said. Visible injuries were caused to the driver and passenger, police said. The driver was taken to Piedmont Fayette Hospital for observation. The other teen refused medical attention, police said.
