Lisa Kelly Milnes and Adam Gregory Rogers were married Nov. 20, 2004, at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Fayetteville. Pastor Frank Ellis conducted the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Robert Milnes of Albany and Linda Rice of Georgetown. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. James L. Rogers of Peachtree City.
Christy Lynn Hall of Colquitt, sister of the bride, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Betsy Sexton of Atlanta and Jennifer Hirst of Tallahassee, Fla. Junior bridesmaids were Lynleigh Kaye Hall and BethAnne Grace Hall, nieces of the bride. Flower girl was Laney Mcleod Hall, also niece of the bride
James L. Rogers served as his sons best man. Groomsmen were Lane Hale of Newnan and Alex Monica of Suwannee. Hunter Samples, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.
Chandler-Adams
David Chandler of Huntsville, Ala. and Mrs. Karen Powell Scott of Birmingham, Ala. announce the engagement of their daughter, Charlotte Ann Chandler, to Bobby Adams, son of Bob and Holly Adams of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Powell of Huntsville, Ala., and Mrs. Trecy Chandler and the late Russell Chandler of Tucker. She is a 1998 graduate of Huntsville High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham where she received a B.S. in early childhood education.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Byron Harper of Fayetteville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bob Adams Sr. of Peachtree City. A 1997 graduate of Sandy Creek High School, he attended Auburn University where he was graduated with a B.S. in construction science and also a B.S. in business. Currently, he is a home builder in Birmingham, Ala.
The wedding will be March 19, 2005, at the Altadena Valley Presbyterian Church in Birmingham.
After the honeymoon, the couple will reside in Birmingham.
Ellerbee-Bridges
Mr. and Mrs. Emory E. Ellerbee Jr. of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Nicole Ellerbee, to Stephen Shattuck Bridges, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Bridges of Canton.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Maude Eidson and the late Milton Eidson of Thomaston, and Mr. and Mrs. Eldo Ellerbee, also of Thomaston. She is a 2000 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2004 graduate of The State University of West Georgia where she received a B.S. in early childhood education. She was a member of Chi Omega sorority.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shattuck of LaFayette and Mr. and Mrs. Worth Bridges of Tifton. He is a 1999 graduate of Shiloh High School in Snellville and a 2003 graduate of The State University of West Georgia where he received a bachelor of business administration in accounting. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He currently is employed as a staff auditor for Mauldin and Jenkins Certified Public Accountants in Atlanta.
The wedding will be April 16, 2005, at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Paulding County.
