Audrey Bernandine Stringer Audrey Bernandine Stringer, 75, Fayetteville, died Feb. 6, 2005. She was born June 14, 1929 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky. A private family service was held. Survivors include her husband, Wayne A. Stringer, Fayetteville; daughters, Sandy and Tom Nickell, Fayetteville, and Janet and Costa Colbert, Houston, Texas; a grandson, Josh and Katie Nickell, Senoia; stepmother, Louise Gillispie, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a step-brother, John Stansberry, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother, Snowden V. Gillispie; a brother-in-law, Don and Mary Jo Stringer, Lexington, Ky.; sisters-in-law, Alma and Bob Polk, New Castle, Ind., and Betty and Millard Goggin, New Lisbon, Ind.; and faithful pet, Mickey. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include sons, Frederick Backes, and Robert Backes, both of Peachtree City; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bud Gerding, Ventura, Calif. Carl J.
