Fayetteville City Council minutes available online

City residents who don’t have the time or energy to search through dusty old minute books can access minutes with the click of a mouse.

City Clerk Judy Stephens and City Manager Joe Morton implemented the idea, which contributes to the city’s goal to become user-friendly, officials say.

“You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve had to go and research minutes, and it’s hard to go page-by-page in a book,” Stephens said. “You can research minutes all the way back to 1973 because I’ve actually had to search things back.”

According to city officials, online minutes will allow residents to search past minutes for general information. The information is updated quarterly.
