She was born July 30, 1913 in Jasper County, daughter of the late John Harlan and Cynthia Clyde Weaver Young. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Ray Brown. She was a member of Peachtree City United Methodist Church. Graveside services were at Camp Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville, with the Rev. John Weber officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Rae B. Frazier, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Beth and Greg Amerson, Diana and J. P. Roberts, Amy and Tim Stiene, and Sharon Huston; great-grandchildren, Sara Gomez, Bobby Amerson, Dustin Amerson, Mackenzie Hairr, Jill Amerson, Dalton Hairr, Brice Hairr, Josh Roberts, Johnny Roberts, Rayner Huston, Hayden Stiene, and Andrew Stiene; and great-great-grandchildren, Julia Gomez and Dianna Cisneros. Jordan Funeral Home, Monticello, was in charge. Thomas J. Tommy Coleman Jr. Thomas J. Tommy Coleman Jr., 61, Senoia, died Feb. 8, 2005. He was born Jan. 5, 1944. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. N. Max Harrell officiating. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Coleman, Senoia; mother, Doris Coleman, Forsyth; and sisters, Gloria Coleman, and Cornelia and Doug Rhine, all of Forsyth, and Debbie Coleman, Hampton. Memorial donations may be made to St. Josephs Mercy Foundation. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. Charles Edward Whitener Sr. Charles Edward Whitener Sr., 60, Jackson, died Feb. 8, 2005. He was born Dec. 19, 1944 in Columbus. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Travis Sheppard officiating. Interment was at Manchester Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include his son, Eddie and Lita Whitener, Gay; daughters, Teresa and Keith Prevatt, Newnan, and Patricia and Herman Turner, Jackson; a stepson, J. J. Evans, Senoia; nine grandchildren; brothers, Tommy and Nancy Whitener, Fayetteville, and Johnny and Dianna Whitener, Columbus; and sisters, Brenda Parker, Senoia, and Debbie Fussell, Columbus.
