Stem cell research presentation is tonightThe Holy Trinity Respect Life Group will host a presentation on stem cell research at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Wednesday, Jan. 26, following the 7 p.m. Mass. Childrens programs on black history offeredDuring February and as part of Black History Month, children at Outreach International Center will learn through the written word and hands on activities about well-known African-Americans, who were devout Christians and about the impact of their contributions on our lives and culture. Children will focus on George Washington Carver and his work with the peanut as well as a look at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.s contribution to American life.
