GodStuf starts tonight at PTC UMCThe Peachtree City United Methodist Church announces the launching of a new Wednesday night family worship experience called GodStuf beginning tonight, Jan. 19, from 6:15-7 p.m. GodStuf is a family-centered multimedia worship program featuring music, drama, dance, video and Bible stories that promote a monthly virtue word designed to help kids and parents make wise choices. The virtue word for January is respect. The program is held at the Robinson Road campus, 225 Robinson Road. For more information, call 770-487-6499. Greek mission plans St. Basils celebration The Greek Orthodox Mission of Peachtree City will hold its second annual St. Basils Celebration (Vasilopita) on Saturday, Jan. 22 at the Fayette Family YMCA on Huiet Road at Hwy 54. All parishioners and their friends are invited to the covered dish fund raiser, with proceeds benefiting St. Basils Academy. Food, music, Greek dancing and face-painting will be offered. Eleventh Hour church to offer womens Bible study Pam Glanton will lead a three-week womens Bible study with prophetic ministry at the Eleventh Hour Call Church in Fayetteville. The sessions are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 20, Thursday, Jan. 27, and Thursday, Feb. 3, at 10 a.m. The church is at 395 South Glynn St. (Ga. Hwy. 85), downstairs from Fayette Mower. Prince of Peace to offer Beth Moore study Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fayetteville has begun a new ladies Bible study, Beth Moores Believing God. African choir to appear at Trinity Fellowship The grammy-nominated African Childrens Choir will appear at Trinity Fellowship Assembly of God during the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday, Feb. 6. Members of the choir are selected annually from thousands of orphans and disadvantaged children in Africa. The performance includes singing, dancing and storytelling. Trinity Fellowship is at the intersection of Ga. Hwys. 54 and 34, just west of Peachtree City. |
