Other reportsPeachtree City Fire/Rescue Outside Burning: At 6:04 p.m. Jan. 10, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to reported smoke in area at 613 Tower Road. The fire was extinguished. Accident: At 4:55 p.m. Jan. 11, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to reported motor vehicle collision at 101 City Circle. Firefighters and EMS personnel checked for injuries. Apartment flood: At 6:06 p.m. Jan. 11, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to 921 Peachtree Station Circle to an apartment flood. On arrival, crews discovered two apartments had been heavily damaged by a water line break. The crews contacted Red Cross and complex management. Building officials assessed the damage and possible structural issues. Families were not permitted to occupy the apartments until further investigation was complete by building officials. Red Cross helped with temporary living arrangements. Outside Burning: At 8:14 p.m. Jan. 11, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to reported smoke in area at 612 Double Trace. The resident extinguished the fire. Unattended Outside Burn: At 12:36 p.m. Jan. 13, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a reported unattended fire at 105 Bowfin Bay Road. The fire was extinguished. Accident: At 6:26 p.m. Jan. 13, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a reported vehicle accident at Hwy. 54 and Peachtree Parkway. Crews found a three-car motor vehicle collision. Firefighters and EMS personnel checked for injuries. Structure Fire: At 7:31 p.m. Jan. 13, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a reported structure fire at 303 Brocade Court. Personnel and equipment arrived to find smoke in the residence that had been caused by food left on the stove. Fire Alarm: At 8:16 a.m. Jan. 15, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a reported fire alarm at 776 Hwy. 74 South. The alarm was false; a pull station had been activated. Accident: At 9:36 a.m. Jan. 15, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a vehicle collision at Hwy. 54 and Flat Creek Road. Firefighters and EMS personnel checked for injuries. Accident: At 12:41 p.m. Jan. 15, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a reported vehicle collision at Peachtree Parkway and Interlochen. Firefighters and EMS personnel arrived and found vehicle had left the scene. Accident: At 2:21 p.m. Jan. 16, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a vehicle collision at 433 Blue Smoke. Firefighters and EMS personnel checked for injuries. Brush Fire: At 8:19 p.m. Jan. 16, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to a brush fire at Hampton Inn, 300 Westpark Drive. Personnel and equipment arrived to find a small brush fire that was quickly extinguished. From Jan. 10 and Jan. 16, Peachtree City Fire/Rescue personnel and equipment responded to 41 calls for help. No reports were available from the Fayetteville, Peachtree City, Tyrone police departments and the Fayette County and Fayetteville fire departments due to the observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jrs birthday. |
