Acting Class for Home-Schoolers Begins January 6

An actingclass especially for homeschoolers, "Putting on the Show" will be taught by Susan M. Steadman, Ph.D., for the Peachtree City Recreation Department. Geared toward participants aged 9 to 18, the class continues throughout the school year and culminates in a spring performance of a new play. Putting on the Show meets Thursdays, from 1:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Session III runs January 6 to January 27. Session IV takes place February 3 to March 3.The fee is $49 per session.

Steadman, producing artistic director of Offshoot Productions, has been directing and teaching acting for over 30 years. She holds a Ph.D. in theatre from Louisiana State University and an M.A. in Educational Theatre from New York University.
