Fayetteville Police Department The Fayetteville Police Department was closed Monday in observance of the Christmas holiday and provided no reports before presstime. Peachtree City Police Department Alan D. Lugo, 19, of 2113 Irise Court, Orlando, driving on a suspended or revoked license and driving with defective equipment. Freddie R. Chastine Jr., 25, of 561 Dogwood Trail, Tyrone, driving without insurance. A 16-year-old Peachtree City male for theft by taking a motor vehicle, driving without a license and unruly juvenile. Margaret Ann Cochran, 30, of 255 Hollonville Road, Brooks, simple battery, disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer. Rico Raymals Gay, 26, of 211 Waterwood Bend, Peachtree City, battery (under the Family Violence Act). Tarcicio D. Rodriguez, 58, of 117 Kings Ridge Drive, Peachtree City, was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road following a Dec. 20 accident that left three adults and two children injured. Rodriguez, the driver of a red 1993 Nissan pickup truck was traveling west on Kings Ridge when he plowed head-on into a white garbage truck stopped in the eastbound lane near Fortress Drive about 4:45 p.m. The garbage truck was driven by Steve Allen, 43, of 480 Brownlee Road, Jackson. The truck was owned by All South Robertson Sanitation Inc., 1405 Meredith Park Drive, McDonough. Rodriguez was taken to Piedmont Fayette Hospital for chest injuries. His two female passengers, Elane Rodriguez, 6, and Sakir Rodriguez, 7, also were injured. Elane Rodriguez, who received head trauma and was rendered unconscious during the accident, was transported by medical helicopter to Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta. Sakir Rodriguez, who received a shoulder injury from her seat belt, was taken to Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Allen injured his right leg, hip and ankle areas in the crash, but he refused to be transported by ambulance to the hospital. Charles Williams, 27, of 3159 Flat Shoals Road, College Park, received a neck, back and chest injuries and was transported to Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Nathan D. Parr, 33, of Tope Road, Sharpsburg, DUI and failure to maintain lane. Eric Edwards, 30, of Long Leaf, Peachtree City, probation violation Jason B. Graves, 31, of Omin Road, DUI, driving on a suspended license and speeding. Ronald Wayne Ware, 37, of Byrom Road, Senoia, DUI (drugs), reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and following too closely. Douglas Charles Miller, 36, of Gateway Point, Peachtree City, DUI, failure to maintain lane, driving with defective equipment and expired tag. Virginia Ailenn Andrews, 42, of Mauritana Avenue, Oakland, financial identity fraud. Anthony Brown, 45, of West Fort Street, Detroit, Mich., driving on a suspended license, no insurance, unlawful use of a license plate and possession of an open container of alcohol. Jeffrey Scott Crockett, 22, of Briarwood Road, Tyrone, DUI, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane. Tyrone Police Department Essie Louis Washington III, 19, of 304 Meadowglen Parkway, Fairburn, speeding and driving on a suspended or revoked license. Other reportsPeachtree City Police Department Animal neglect: Dorothy Reddick of Pacers Walk, Peachtree City, reported Dec. 22, her neighbor, Jamia Blackmon, 23, left a puppy tied up all day on the back porch without food or water. Police investigated and discovered the dog was tied to a short leash. Due to the length of the leash, the dog was forced to walk in its own feces. Police spoke with Blackmon and told her to provide plenty of food and water for the dog and buy a longer leash. No citations were issued, according to the report. Golf cart theft: John P. Camp, 23, of Kings Ridge, Peachtree City, reported about 8:30 a.m. Dec. 8, that someone stole a green Ezgo golf cart, valued at $1,500, while it was parked in front of his home. The golf cart belonged to Justin Wood, 21, of the same address. The vehicle later was recovered. Vandalism: Dennis Spaulding, 54, of Woodsdale, Peachtree City, reported 12:13 a.m. Dec. 9, that someone poured flour, vegetable oil, shaving cream and other substances onto his black Volkswagen Jetta and damaged his clear coat paint job. Theft: Larry Keith Underwood, an employee at Wendy's, 1102 Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree City, reported about 9 a.m. Dec. 17, a store manager allegedly stole $94.71 from the cash register between Dec. 11-17. No charges were notated on the report. Tyrone Police Department Burglary: An employee at Upshaw's Auto Service, 221 Palmetto Road, Tyrone, reported someone broke into the shop between Dec. 25-26 and stole a computer, three diagnostic machines, keys that belonged to several vehicles in the lot, a black 1990 Chevy S-10 pickup truck, a green 1977 Ford F-150, and two checks for $478.60 and $30. Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services Accident: At 6:21 p.m. Dec. 21, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to a vehicle accident with injuries at Ga. Highways 279 and 314. Gas leak: At 10:35 p.m. Dec. 22, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to a gas leak at 125 Mandy Court. Accident: At 4:41 p.m. Dec. 23, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to a vehicle accident with injuries at Ga. Highway 85 and New Hope Road. Carbon dioxide problem: At 2 a.m. Dec. 25, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to 101 Apollo Drive after the carbon dioxide detector activated due to a malfunction. Grass fire: At 3:09 p.m. Dec. 26, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to a grass fire at 436 Old Greenville Road. Gas spill: At 6:49 p.m. Dec. 26, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to a gas spill at 994 Tyrone Road. House fire: At 9:42 p.m. Dec. 27, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to 230 Oak St., Fayetteville, under the Automatic Mutual Aid Pact with the Fayetteville Fire Department. The incident resulted in damage. Gas leak: At 6:22 a.m. Dec. 28, Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded to a gas leak at 349 Kenwood Road. From Dec. 21-28, the Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services received 104 calls for assistance. Fayetteville Fire Department The Fayetteville Fire Department headquarters office was closed Monday in observance of the Christmas holiday and provided no reports before presstime at noon Tuesday.
