Brooks students design EMC cardThanks to art students at Brooks Elementary School, Coweta-Fayette EMC was able to send out a very unique Christmas card again this year to their employees and fellow business associates. Brooks Elementary and Coweta-Fayette have been education partners for the past fourteen years. One of the things that Brooks students do for the EMC is help design their annual Christmas card. All of the art students draw pictures and then the best ones are chosen for the card. There are always so many good ones that it is hard to choose just one. Therefore, this year three drawings were used. A business/education partnership is a voluntary relationship between a business and a school for the support of the educational process. This year, Brooks students demonstrated how their school could show support to their business partner. Coweta-Fayette EMC is a consumer-owned cooperative providing electricity and related services to 62,000 consumers in Fayette, Coweta, Heard, South Fulton, Meriwether, Clayton, Spalding and Troop counties. |
