This weekend, Christians in the Fayette, Coweta and South Fulton areas will join Christians around the world as they celebrate one of the holiest of Christian observances, the birth of Jesus Christ.
Church leaders encourage all in the community to attend the church of their choice and to bring friends, neighbors and other family members to share in this holy celebration.

Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church will have Communion Services Friday, Dec. 24, at 6 and 9 p.m. with carols, scripture, prayers and a short message. No nursery will be provided. The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will have a Service of Holy Eucharist designed for families with children Friday, Dec. 24, at 3:30 p.m. At 5 p.m., a traditional Candlelight Service with Holy Eucharist will be held; A musical prelude will begin at 10 p.m., followed by the 10:30 p.m. Festal Service of Holy Eucharist. Peachtree City United Methodist Church will hold a childrens service, Open Your Present Friday, Dec. 24, at 4 p.m. featuring a dramatic presentation of The CHRISTmas Carol with actors, puppetry arts, childrens choir and congregational singing.
