First Baptist ladies plan silent retreat

The First Baptist Church of Peachtree City’s second annual Ladies’ Silent Retreat will be from 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, until 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. All ladies in the community are invited to participate.

The retreat facility is in north Atlanta on 20 acres adjacent to the Chattahoochee River. The cost of $160 includes a private room with bath and all meals and snacks.

This is an unstructured retreat with 36 hours of private silent time. Marie Hearn will teach two optional sessions on Spiritual Warfare before and after the silence.
