Two Lady Panthers tapped for all state team

Starr’s Mill volleyball players Kursten Carr and Niki Patriarca were recently honored with their selection to the 2004 All State Volleyball team.

The All State team is comprised of twenty four players chosen from all five volleyball classifications within the GHSA. Carr and Patriarca played key roles in helping the Starr’s Mill High School Lady Panthers capture the AAAAA volleyball state championship in November.

Carr led the team with 317 kills, 212 digs, 23 blocks and 45 aces while Patriarca finished the season with 762 assists, 71 kills, and 60 aces.
