The FGTV data streaming process also allows viewers to watch Commission meetings, which are aired live on FGTV at 10 a.m. the first and third Wednesdays each month and rebroadcast every day the following week at 8 p.m.
The service, created by the Fulton County Department of Information Technology and the Fulton County Office of Broadcasting and Cable, will eventually allow viewers to access videos of up to 600 hours of previous Commission meetings.
FGTV on the Internet opens up a whole new way of letting residents and the public stay informed and keep up with Fulton County government in a familiar format, said County Manager Thomas C. Andrews. The Center for Digital Government named Fultons web site among the nations top five among counties, based on innovation and other factors.
