Patterson named to GRI board

Sharon Patterson, the broker for the Eagle’s Landing Sales Center in Stockbridge, has been appointed to the board of governors for the Graduate Realtor Institute.

The Real Estate School offers the GRI designation, which is one of the most prestigious designations recognized by the National Association of Realtors. The board of governors consists of 16 members, chosen throughout the state of Georgia.

The Georgia Association of Realtors’ GRI School, which is regulated by the Georgia Real Estate Commission, is known as one of the best schools in the country.

Patterson has been in the Henry County area for 15 years and is now also brokering sales in South Fulton County for Durham Lakes Golf and Country Club, which like Eagle’s Landing is a Killearn community. She is past president of the Metro South Association of Realtors and was the association’s Realtor of the Year in 2003.
