Cassie Maria Vitolo and Chad Alan Buckhalt were married on Oct. 23, 2004, at Chateau Elan in Braselton.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Anthony Vitolo ll and Ms. Ruby Vitolo of Snellville.
She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Hollingsworth of Carthage, Miss. and Mr. and Mrs. August Vitolo of Snellville. She was graduated from Emory University with a double major in chemistry and philosophy and is employed by Mikart, Inc. in Atlanta as a regulatory associate.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Buckhalt of Fayetteville. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Stokes of Calumet, Okla. and Mrs. Lillie R. Buckhalt and the late Mr. Quinton Buckhalt of Dothan, Ala. He was graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University with a degree in mechanical engineering and is employed by Yamaha in Newnan as a product development engineer.
Mrs. Susan Secor, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Amanda Anderson, sister of the groom, and Meg Aronowitz and Abigail Bradford, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Claudia Johnson and Juliet Saurini, friends of the bride. Ring bearers were Charlie Secor and Taylor Secor, nephews of the bride. Crystal Vitolo, niece of the bride, greeted guests as they arrived and provided programs.
Brandon Buckhalt, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Anderson, brother-in-law of the groom, Andrew Schwab and Louis Doucette, friends of the groom. Ushers were Anthony Vitolo lll and Andrew Vitolo, brothers of the bride.
A dinner and dance reception at Chateau Elan followed the ceremony.
Friends and family celebrated at a rehearsal dinner the night before, hosted by the grooms parents at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Charlie Secor.
After a honeymoon in Maui, the couple is at home in Newnan.
Prewitt-Scoggins
Jillian Suzanne Prewitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob D. Prewitt of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Adam Michael Scoggins, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Michael Scoggins of Fayetteville, were married Nov. 27, 2004, ºat Valley View Baptist Church. The Rev. Mike Hall and the Rev. James Andrew Dickey conducted the ceremony.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Howard Prewitt of Tuscaloosa and the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Benton Corbett of Fayette.
The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Smith of Conyers, and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wilson and the late Franklin Mars Scoggins of Woolvine, Va.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of candlelight matte satin overlaid with organza and a ballerina neckline. The train was encrusted with sequins and pearls.
The bride was attended by her sister, Shawn Prewitt Woodham, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Lane Goodwin of Mobile, Ala., Kelbe Buntin Lawson of Columbia, S.C., Elizabeth Irene Lundell of New York, N.Y., Leigh McElfresh Rushton of Dadeville, Ala., Jana Michelle Scoggins, sister of the groom, Sarah Elizabeth Tisdale of Tuscaloosa, and Leslie Pearson Wolfe of LaGrange, cousin of the bride.
The father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Andrew Buckner, Lawrence Harland Davis III, Austin Eugene Gamble, Delwyn Brainard Gamble, Benjamin Edward Sisson, and Jonathan David Strack of Fayetteville, Drury Blake Kelley, and Jeremy Ryan Tisdale of Tuscaloosa.
The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and will reside in Senoia.
Timmis-Hossler
Nicole Timmis and Mark Wellington Hossler were married Aug. 21, 2004, at Peachtree City United Methodist Church by the Rev. Chuck Hodges. A reception followed the ceremony at Aberdeen Conference Center.
The brides maids of honor were her sisters, Jennifer and Rebecca Timmis.
The grooms best men were his brothers, Kurt and Eric Hossler.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. David Timmis of Peachtree City. She was graduated magna cum laude from Emory Universitys School of Nursing in May 2004 with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She currently is working at Southern Regional Medical Center in neonatal intensive care.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Fred Hossler of Johnson City, Tenn. He was graduated from Emory University in May 2004 with a bachelor of arts in physics. He currently is interning at Emory University while working on a masters degree in sports administration at Georgia State University.
