Prudential Georgia Realty, a residential real estate company serving metro Atlanta since 1963, has surpassed the $2 billion mark in annual sales for the first time in its history.
The real estate firm has long been recognized as a top five real estate company in Atlanta, according to an annual survey conducted by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. In 2003, Prudential Georgia Realty exceeded $1.8 billion in real estate sales, posted 8,000 closed transactions, and had an average sales price per home of $225,000. In November, the firm reached $2 billion in sales and increased its average sales price to $250,000. The company is on course to post a record 8,600 closings by end of year.
"We are honored to have so many metro Atlanta families entrust us with the purchase or sale of their most valuable possession," said Prudential Georgia Realty president and CEO Dan Forsman. "Our focus on our clients and exceptional service has resulted in our company increasing its sales every year since its formation more than 40 years ago."
Ranked by National Relocation & Real Estate as one of the top 100 real estate companies in the United States, the company placed 56th for most 2003 transactions in the real estate trade magazine's 2004 Power Broker Report.
Earlier this year, Prudential Georgia Realty was honored with a Consumer's Choice Award as Best in Class for Executive Home Sales in metro Atlanta. With 20 locations and more than 1,100 Realtors serving metro Atlanta and North Georgia, the company added an office in Douglas County this year.
