John Weber honored on churchs 30th anniversaryChrist Our Shepherd Lutheran Church recently celebrated 30 years of worship service in Peachtree City. More than 30 years ago, the Rev. John M. Weber arrived in Peachtree City as a mission developer for the Lutheran Church in America and, through his vision and ministry, started Christ Our Shepherd. The congregation, at that time, met in a warehouse on Dividend Drive. On Nov. 28, church members honored Weber with a scholarship in his name which will support the preparation of future church leaders through the ELCA Fund for Leaders in Mission.
