Nativity Episcopal presents songs of Taizé December 8The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville will present a service of Holy Eucharist featuring music from Taizé on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 6 p.m. at the church. The Taizé Community in France is dedicated to encouraging others to build relationships of trust among human beings, said the Rev. Bob Hudak, rector of Nativity. Thousands of young people from all over the world visit each year, to see ways to make the world a better place. Hudak also added that the songs of Taizé are published in a number of different languages and are repeated again and again, giving them a meditative character. The simplicity of Taizés music allows everyone to take part. Most people, even those not accustomed to meditation or contemplation, experience this kind of music as deeply calming and comforting, Hudak said. The Episcopal Church of the Nativity is at 130 Antioch Road, just off of Hwy. 92 South in Fayetteville. It is one of the 93 parishes in the Diocese of Atlanta and a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
