A 13-year-old male Booth Middle School student was arrested for carrying and/or possessing weapons on school property last month after an incident on the Fayette County School System Bus No. 323 in the Wynnmeade subdivision. Officials said the juvenile brought a steak knife onto the bus. The incident occurred between 7 and 8:10 a.m. Nov. 9, according to police reports. Other incidents Fayetteville Police Department Arson: Tina Moody, 34, an employee of TJ Maxx, 119 Pavilion Parkway, Fayetteville, reported a young man entered the store, set a fire in the store and then left. Theft: Robert Ward, 48, of Eoyd Road, Apartment-4, Marietta, reported 4 p.m. Dec. 2002, that someone stole his black wallet, valued at $20. The wallet contained $380. Theft: Marie Byrd, 45, of South Jeff Davis Drive, Fayetteville, reported 7 a.m. Dec. 3, that someone entered her vehicle and stole two cell phones, all valued at $200. Cruelty to animals: Janna Jones, 23, of Hardy Road, Brooks, reported 7 p.m. Nov. 25, that an unidentified man threw her cat against the wall and bragged about it to his friends. Peachtree City Police Department Theft: Jimmy Baswell, 30, an employee of Georgian Park Car Wash, 2000 Georgian Park, Peachtree City, reported 5:11 p.m. Nov. 28, that someone broke into the change machine and industrial vacuum cleaner and stole an unknown amount of money. The thief stole all bills and left change. The owner is John Williams, 55, of Legacy Lane, Peachtree City. Criminal damage: James Lee Arnold, 51, of Chase Court, Peachtree City, reported 2:23 p.m. Nov. 27, that someone damaged the passenger side window of his silver 1995 Dodge Caravan mini-van, while it was parked in the Preston Chase Court subdivision. The damage is estimated at $800. Entering auto: Anthony James Williams, 21, of Emory Phillips Road, Sharpsburg, reported 11:20 p.m. Nov. 24, that someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked at Photo Circuits, 810 Dividend Drive, Peachtree City, and stole a personal computer and damaged his Kenwood stereo. The total estimated damage is $650. Theft: Janine Rector, 27, a loss prevention employee at Wal-Mart, 2717 Ga. Highway 54 West, Peachtree City, reported 12:04 p.m. Nov. 17, that two men stole 26 video games from the store. The games had a total estimated value of $1,037.92. Theft: Efrain Loera, 30, of Cobblestone Creek, Peachtree City, reported 8:16 p.m. Nov. 23, that someone stole her black golf cart, valued at $1,000. Claudia Cervantes, 28, of Cobblestone Creek, was the joint-owner. Theft: Johnny Bishop of Deep South Road, Senoia, reported 2:12 p.m. Dec. 1, that someone forged a checked for $6,125 on July 29, against his late mothers bank account. Bishop said he made the discovery when he went to close the account. Theft: Valerie Curry, 38, of Larkspur Turn, Peachtree City, reported 12:25 p.m. Dec. 1, that someone stole her purse from her buggy while she was shopping in the book section at Wal-Mart, 2717 Ga. Highway 54, West, Peachtree City. The purse contained papers, credit cards and $22. Theft: David Alewine, 38, of Pinemont, Peachtree City, reported 10:42 a.m. Nov. 23, that someone stole a K2 Cross Country Yellow Bike, valued at $420. Theft: Christopher Eric Holloway, 33, an employee of Fat City Skates and Bikes, 213 Northlake Drive, Peachtree City, reported 4:55 p.m. Nov. 26, that someone stole a black beenie hat, valued at $20. The skating rink owner, Donald Kuhns, owned the hat. Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services Accident: At 8:06 a.m. Nov. 30, Fayette County firefighters responded to a two-vehicle accident at Ga. Highway 314 and Ga. Highway 279 in Fayetteville. One person was transported to Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Structure fire: At 5:46 p.m. Nov. 30, Fayette County firefighters responded to 220 Watershed Way, Fayetteville, within three minutes of receiving the call. Firefighters discovered lint burning in the lint trap of the electric dryer. The fire was extinguished and the dryer was removed from the house. The house was ventilated for smoke and the owner was advised not to use the dryer until the appliance was serviced or replaced. Accident: At 1:27 p.m. Dec. 1, Fayette County firefighters responded to a two-vehicle accident on New Hope and Brogdon roads. No one was transported to the hospital. Accident: On Dec. 1, Fayette County firefighters responded to a two-vehicle accident at Ga. Highway 74 North at Oak Ridge Drive. No one was transported. Between Nov. 30 and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 1, the department responded to 17 calls for emergency medical care. Fayetteville Fire Department Accident: At 7:22 a.m. Nov. 29, Fayetteville firefighters responded to a vehicle accident at 230 Virginia Highland, Fayetteville. Controlled burn: At 5:35 p.m. Nov. 29, Fayetteville firefighters responded to a controlled burn at 175 Pleasant Point Way, Fayetteville. Burning wires: At 7:32 p.m. Nov. 29, Fayetteville firefighters responded to 275 Pavilion Parkway, Fayetteville, after a call regarding burning wires was reported. Injured person: At 8:55 a.m. Dec. 2, Fayetteville firefighters responded to 210 Williamsburg Way, Fayetteville, to assist an injured person. Injured person: At 8:08 p.m. Dec. 2, Fayetteville firefighters responded to 165 Downing Court, Fayetteville, to assist an injured person. Structure fire: At 9:24 p.m. Dec. 2, Fayetteville firefighters responded to a building fire at 119 Pavilion Parkway.
