NAACP to install new officers

The Fayette County NAACP Branch chapter will have its final meeting of the year Saturday, Dec. 11, at 4 p.m. at Holly Grove AME Church, 400 Holly Grove Church Road, Peachtree City.

The meeting will include the swearing in of new officers for next year.

Leadership for 2005 will include the Rev. Edward Johnson, president; Handel Fitz-Henley, first vice-president; Malcolm Hughes, second vice-president; Elverta J. Williams, secretary; and Al LaMothe, treasurer.

A social with refreshments will immediately following the swearing in. The public is invited. For more information, call 770-461-9934.
