Toys needed for Christmas projectColdwell Banker Bullard Realty is hosting Santa's Workshop Dec. 11 from 1-3 p.m. This is the third annual workshop benefiting Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta. Kids in the After School Program throughout Fayette County are busy decorating white lunch bags in hopes of cheering up one of the many children who check into the Admissions area at the children's hospital. This Saturday, at Coldwell Banker Bullards Fayetteville office (1968 Highway 54 West, next to Benjamin Moore paint shop, just outside Peachtree City), volunteers will be decorating bags, stuffing each one with a kids meal toy, a coloring sheet and crayons. They will then be delivered to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Last year over 700 bags were delivered. Fast-food restaurants through Fayetteville and Peachtree City have generously donated toys, but more help is needed. Local residents are asked to stop by Saturday with gently used kids meal toys and help with this project. Refreshments will be available and a visit from Santa is expected. |
