Walk Through Bethlehem set for Dec. 3The Fayetteville Christian Church will present a Walk Through Bethlehem Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3, 4 and 5, featuring sights, sounds, smells and tastes of Bethlehem. Fridays event will be from 6-9 p.m., Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., and Sundays from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The church is on the corner of New Hope and Hickory Roads, Fayetteville. St. Andrews Bake sale, bazaar planned Dec. 4The women of St. Andrews Episcopal Church will have their annual bake sale and Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4. There will be a Golden Elephant salea top of the line white elephant sale featuring new and nearly new treasures and holiday crafts all suitable for gift-giving. Harps Crossing men plan breakfast Dec. 5The Baptist Men at Harps Crossing Baptist Church will meet for breakfast Sunday, Dec. 5 at 8 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The church is at 1183 Ga. Blue Christmas service planned Dec. 6Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church will have a special Blue Christmas service of prayer and encouragement Monday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. for those who have suffered a loss, feel sad, or are just overwhelmed or frazzled during the holiday season. Music will be provided by the flute choir and organ. The church is on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City. Dickens Village opens Dec. 8Heritage Christian Churchs Dickens Village is planned for Dec. 8-12, open nightly from 6-9 p.m. at the church. The event features a 19th century village complete with shops and characters. There is a stage show each evening in the auditorium and outside dramas and stage shows are on 30-minute rotations.
