Children’s program planned for Dec.

“Carriers of the Light,” the Children’s Christmas program at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City, will be presented on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Diane Durden is directing the production, assisted by Cathy Moore. Allison Adams, Kathy Zimmerman and David Beecher are preparing the young singers, and Christian Eduction Director Edie Eickemeyer is providing. assistance.

The young actors include: Amelia Merriman, Mary; Preston Rothfusz, Joseph; Ashley Dohany, Sophie Simantel and Greta Pfundt, Magi; Madalyn Hersom, the owl; Shelby Durden, the cow; Madison Bunker, the lamb; Emily Bunker, Marissa Owen, Laura Landis and Rachel Moore, shepherds; Bradley Hall, King Herod; Madison Rinenbach, Anna Beard, Molly Fritz and Megan Sutliff, angels; and Samuel Compagno, Rachel Compagno and Ashley Young, narrators. Alex Gaddo gives assistance as stage crew.

Children in the music and the master after-school program make up the chorus, along with others who have attended special rehearsals. Besides those listed above, Shepherd’s Flock singers include Zachary Adams, Ilze Apfel, Jamie Callison, Shaelyn Comiskey, Thomas Evans, Alexandra Fedor, Sebastian Ferguson, Annabelle Fortune, Megan Gilbert, Jarred Hall, Jenna Hamlin, Andrew Helvig, Theresa Jones, Tyler Knowles, Kristin Lynch, Mitchell Moreland, Courtney Petersen, Jonathan Rach, Kate Reissing, Emily Ricker, Logan Ruck, and Eric Sutliff.

Little Lambs are Alex Dohany, Drew Dohany, Will Evans, Savannah Gray, Victoria Gray, Brian Hall, Jordan Hall, Megan Huie, Lily Merriman, Maddy Moreland, Abby Mortensen, Jordan Murphy, Emily Petersen, Louissa Pfundt, Julianne Rach, Samuel Reissing, Conner Ruck, Olivia Stewart and Michael Young.

Preschool singers include Abby Helvig, Kirsten Oates and Alex Pakulski.

The children will take “Carriers of the Light” to Heritage of Peachtree retirement home on Wednesday, Dec. 8. After singing and ringing handbells and chimes in worship on Dec.12, they will also sing at the 4:30 p.m. service on Christmas Eve.

Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran is on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Peachtree Parkway.
