Christ Our Shepherd sets Advent services

Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will offer Advent services on Wednesdays, at 12:15 and 7:00 p.m., beginning Wednesday, Dec. 1. The theme for this season is “Coming To The Manger.”

The evening services will spotlight worship leadership teams, most from the youth LOGOS ministry guided by Youth Minister Nikki Rach.

The focus on Dec.1 will be on The Wise Men, with an emphasis on “Faith.”

Groups performing Dec. 1 will be Flute Choir, Rockin’ Shepherds (sixth grade male handbell ringers), eighth grade Behind the Scenes Team, seventh grade Word Team, Awesome Angels (sixth grade female singers), seventh grade Drama Troupe, and GraceFlock Youth Band.

The focus for the Dec. 8 service will be on Elizabeth and Zachariah, centering on “Hope.”

Groups performing Dec. 8 will include Christ Our Shepherd Brass, Moved by Grace Dance Team, Trombone Choir, eighth grade and seventh grade Behind the Scenes Teams, seventh grade Word Team, and High School Clowns.

The focus on the Dec. 15 services will be on Mary and Joseph, emphasizing “Love.”Groups featured on Dec. 15 will be Five-in-Hand Handbell Ringers, The Shepherd’s Band, eighth grade Drama Team, The Shepherd’s Flock and Little Lambs Singers, and the Behind-the-Scenes and Word Teams.

Focus on the Dec. 22 services will be on The Innkeeper, characterized by a gong.

The church is on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City.
