Schedule for annual Peach Bowl Classic announced

Georgia Tech, last season’s NCAA runners up, and the University of Georgia men’s basketball teams will host Air Force and Oregon State Dec. 11 in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Classic for Kids presented by RBC Centura Bank at Philips Arena.

Georgia will face Oregon State of the Pac 10 Conference in game one at noon. Tech will tip off against Air Force of the Mountain West Conference in game two at 2:30 p.m. Tickets ($15-$35), good for both games, are now available through Ticketmaster. The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Classic for Kids benefits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Camp Twin Lakes. Last year’s event raised $115,000 for children in need.

“This is one of the most impactful events in our city,” said Gary Stokan, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl president. “But I’m not talking about the teams or even the players. It’s important for the kids it helps. For them, it could make the biggest difference of all.”

The Lower Level Classic Family Four Pack costs $115 and provides four lower level game tickets, four Chick-fil-A sandwiches and one Chick-fil-A cow calendar.

The Upper Level Classic Family Four Pack costs $75 and provides four upper level game tickets, four Chick-fil-A sandwiches and one Chick-fil-A cow calendar

Individual tickets are $35 lower level (100), $25 lower level (200) and $15 upper level. Groups purchasing 10 or more tickets will receive a $5 per ticket discount.
