MacBean to play volleyball at Elon University

Starr’s Mill Senior Shelley MacBean signs her National Letter of Intent to play college volleyball at Elon University in North Carolina.

“What makes this signing extra special“ said Principal Sweat, “is that not only is this our first volleyball student athlete signing, but it is our first athlete to sign with their team’s state championship trophy accompanying them at the table.“

MacBean will end her four years of competition at Starr’s Mill with several career stats ranked in the top 10 of the State of Georgia High School Volleyball Record Book.
