A new home for the holidaysBy Ellie White-Stevens
Some of the best gifts you can give yourself. By this Christmas, it will be a new home in the Parks of Olmsted for a local woman and her family. Janet Bridges, of David Lindsey Homes and Realty, got to play Santa. She came in and found the perfect home on that very day, she said. The great deal with Olmsted Dollars, the play park for her son and the beautiful surroundings made Olmsted an ideal place to call home. We will be able to have her in her new home for the Christmas holidays! Janet Bridges explained that Olmsted Dollars are a way to afford extras that make a home beautiful. They make affordable the right flooring or accents that make a Parks of Olmsted house that much more appealing. While many more homes will be built in The Parks of Olmsted, at least 270, only 50 have been built so far, and there are a scant few left for immediate move-in. We still have a few inventory homes available that can be ready to move in in time for that Christmas holiday dinner. Bridges encourages buyers to hurry, if they would like their new home right away. But Broker Wanda Lindsey wants to encourage those who are looking for a more custom, thoughtful process to also consider The Parks of Olmsted. We will have lake lots on The Point, with custom lots available. Lindsey knows, too, that while The Parks of Olmsted is peaceful in the fall, it will be glorious in the Spring. The landscaping is patterned after the great landscape designer who did Central Park and the Vanderbilt home, Frederick Law Olmsted. The landscaping is outstanding. All of the front yards come with landscaping, including a tree and shrubbery, shared Lindsey. The 100-acre lake is a key drawing point for homebuyers. Others also cite the water feature, walking trails and neighborhood environment. There are excellent schools, and a small town feeling with big-city opportunities nearby. Its got something for everyone, said Lindsey. The Parks of Olmsted is located off of Lower Fayetteville Rd. on Mary Freeman in East Coweta County. The information center is open daily from 1 p.m until 6 p.m., and model home tours are available. For directions or details call 678-423-2825. |
