Healing service planned at Eleventh Hour Church

Christ Our Hope sets Thanksgiving service

Members of Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will have a Thanksgiving eve service Wednesday, Nov. 24, at 7:30 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring nonperishable foods to be placed on the altar during the service. S.A.G.E. plans trip to Branson

The S.A.G.E. group (senior citizens) at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church is planning a seven-day, six night trip to Branson, Mo. in May of 2005. The cost is $569 per person. Sacred Harp singing set for Dec. 3, 4 in Oxford

A Southern Folk Advent, featuring songs from Georgia’s historic 1844 Sacred Harp tune book, will be presented Friday Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. and Saturday Dec. 4 at 10:30 a.m. at historic Old Church near the Oxford College of Emory University campus in Oxford, 38 miles east of Atlanta off I-20. There is no admission charge and no tickets are required. A free-will offering will be taken. Seating will be on a first come, first served basis. FFUMC to sponsor Christmas Home Tour

Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will sponsor a Christmas Home tour of six beautiful Fayette County homes on Dec. 3 and 4. Also, there will be a silent auction held at the Holliday-Dorsey-Fife House Museum from 1-5 p.m., during the tour. Peachtree City United Methodist Church announces a new meeting night for GriefShare, a weekly seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close.
