School system seeks inputThe Fayette County School System is in the process of conducting a yearly review of its strategic plan and is asking parents and the community to provide feedback about how schools and teachers are meeting the educational needs of students. Last year, the school system updated its five-year plan using public input that was gathered through an online survey. Since information solicited from the survey proved to be valuable in the compilation of the plan, public input is being sought again as the system conducts its yearly review. The survey can be accessed and completed online by logging onto the Fayette County School Systems Web site at www.fcboe.org. The survey is simple and straightforward and asks questions from how well schools communicate with parents and the community regarding specific issues to educational instruction/delivery and classroom environment. The survey will remain on the web site through Dec. 1. To review a current copy of the school systems strategic plan, log onto the web site and click on information and then current news and information. |
