Art show is this weekend

The Newnan-Coweta Art Association is holding its annual Christmas show and sale this weekend.

It is at the historic A&WP railroad depot at 60 E. Broad Street, Newnan.

The hours are today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Art works will be for sale and a book signing will be held all three days. One of the authors present will be Carolyn Cary, who will be on hand to autograph her book, “William Thomas Overby: Proud Partisan Ranger.”

It is about a Confederate soldier from Coweta County who was hung near the end of the War Between The States
