PTC Paddlers getting together

The annual meeting of the Peachtree City Paddlers canoe and kayak club will be held Saturday night, Nov. 20, starting at 6 p.m.

Todd Gullekson, president of the club, said the gathering will take place in the observation room, which is upstairs in the Buckhead Brewery in Peachtree City.

The election of officers will be held, and other topics of discussion will include winter roll practice, the 2005 trip list, special events, the beginner’s clinic, and membership recruitment.

Members and other persons interested in attending can contact Gullekson by e-mail at echo5golf@numail.org. The deadline for reservations is Monday, Nov. 15.

Gullekson also reported that the club’s indoor roll practices will begin Sunday, Nov. 21. The sessions will be held from 5-7 p.m. at the Kedron indoor pool facility in Peachtree City. Other roll practices are scheduled Dec. 5 and 19, Jan. 9 and 23, Feb. 6 and 20, and March 6 and 20.
