A large group of area Realtors were on hand for the recent Agents Open House Luncheon at the new Sheffield Estates community in Fayetteville.
The 87-home community, which will have upscale homes on heavily wooded homesites ranging in size from over one-quarter acre to over one-half acre, is the first project begun in the area designated as the City of Fayetteville’s Southside Master Plan.
Located on Ga. Highway 92 South, Sheffield Estates has 53 homesites in its first phase with home prices from $250,000 to $300,000, and some basement lots are available. Nine homes in the initial phase are already under contract.
Oakenshield Properties is the developer of the community, and the builder team in the community is composed of Freeman Homes Inc., Jeff Betsill Homes Inc. and Woodmaster Homes Inc.

The homes in Sheffield Estates, which have side entry garages, have Hardiplank exteriors, and brick or stone accents are available as options. The yards are sodded and have a sprinkler system. Each home has a wrought iron mailbox.
The long list of standard features for homes includes energy-related items, a home owners warranty program, and numerous items considered as upgrades in this price range.
Amenities in Sheffield Estates will include a swimming pool and a play park/recreation area, and the community has streetlights and sidewalks, as well as city water and sewer.
