Two of the real estate industrys leading speakers, Steve Easley and Susan Raterman, CIH, will be featured at an upcoming seminar sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia.
The seminar is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Windham Peachtree Hotel and Conference Center in Peachtree City. The event will begin with registration and a continental breakfast at 8 a.m., and the seminar, which will be in the facilitys amphitheater, will start at 8:45 a.m.
Ensley, who will give a presentation on If Walls Could Talk: Better Design and Building Practices to Reduce Mold and Moisture, is an internationally recognized construction consultant who specializes in solving building science related problems and helping builders reduce their construction defects and call back costs. He has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and was a professor of building construction and contracting for 10 years at Purdue University.
Raterman, whose topic is How to Respond to Mold and Related Claims: Recommendations for Building Industry Professionals, is the founder/president of The Raterman Group LTD, an industrial hygiene and environmental hazard consulting firm. Her company specializes in the areas of comprehensive industrial hygiene consulting, indoor air quality evaluations, mold investigations, asbestos and lead hazard assessments and remediation oversight, and environmental site assessments.
