Ravin Homes, Inc., established in 1974, has been building homes on the south side of Atlanta for 30 years.
Formally incorporated in 1982, Ravin Homes has built almost 3,000 homes in 58 communities from Eagle’s Landing in Henry County to Peachtree City and Fayetteville in Fayette County. The family-owned business was started by Vince Rossetti in 1974. Six years later, his eldest son Michael joined the firm and eventually took over operation of the company. In 1990, DeSales Rossetti deGolian came aboard and now manages the custom presale aspect of the company.
When asked what the most rewarding aspect of being one of Fayette County’s most established and respected builders, Michael Rossetti responded, “When you have a customer that buys their first home from you, and then comes back and buys a second and a third home from you; or when a couple that built with you brings their child to us to build them a home, that is an awesome compliment.”
Ravin’s niche has been selling their homes prior to the start of construction. This allows the home buyer to modify the standard plans that Ravin offers in each community. Additionally, if the home buyer has their own plan, or ideas about what they want in their new home, Ravin Homes will price up those plans or custom features and build the home to the customer’s specification. Selling their homes prior to start of construction allows Ravin’s customers to pick their lot and choose all of the colors and finishes that go into their new home.
Currently, Ravin Homes is custom building in Cedarcroft (starting in the $190,000’s) located off MacDuff Parkway in Peachtree City. Additionally, Ravin is building in The Villages of LaFayette Park (starting in the $260,000’s) in downtown Fayetteville.
