Corinth Church to feature dinner, singing Nov. 13Corinth Baptist Church will feature an evening of dinner and singing Saturday, Nov. 13, featuring The Corinth Crusaders with David Ables and friends. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m., followed by singing at 7 p.m. Dinner will consist of lasagna, salad, bread, drink and dessert for $7.50 (adults) or $4 (children 5-12). Children under the age of four eat free. The event is a fund raiser to enable the Corinth Crusaders to purchase their own sound system. Aglow will meet Nov. 15The November meeting of Peachtree City Aglow will feature guest speaker Henry Wright, senior pastor of Pleasant Valley Church in Thomaston. Cotton Patch Gospel slated for Nov. 19Tom Key, who conceived and co-wrote the celebrated Cotton Patch Gospel musical with the late singer-songwriter Harry Chapin, will be performing his award-winning two act play on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. at Starrs Mill High School in Peachtree City. The proceeds will benefit the Wellspring Home. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for high school students, and are available at local churches, including First Baptist Peachtree City, the Wellspring Store in the Peachtree East Publix Shopping Center on highway 54, and through the Wellspring website at www.wellspringoflivingwater.org.
