Target donates books for ‘Read Across the Region’

Representatives from the Target Store at Camp Creek Marketplace came to Hamilton E. Holmes Elementary and presented the school with $249 in new children’s books.

This gift accompanied a check for $500 that was donated on October 12 as a part of the Read Across the Region reading encouragement program.

The children’s books will be used in the Media Center and in the Parent Resource Center, and the $500 will go toward the purchase of reading incentives for the students.
