Pain relief rub is a big sellerJones Pharmacy of Fayetteville has the happy problem of trying to keep enough of a locally distributed pain-relief product on hand. Since its recent retail debut at the independently-owned pharmacy in July, Frank Cawoods Pain Relief Rub has been a sell-out five times over and more are on order Previously available only by mail or by telephone, Pain Relief Rub is marketed by FC&A, a Peachtree City company thats been quietly selling millions of self-help, health, and consumer books and products through direct mail for over 35 years. Selling these products in retail markets is a new business venture for the company. Some of FC&As best selling titles, including Easy Computing for Seniors and Eat and Heal, are now appearing in bookstores across the country and in other retail venues such as Kroger. Pain Relief Rubs popularity with its customers makes it a natural fit in the retail market as well, and it may soon be available through a national distributor. Kris Rose, creative services director of FC&A, is not surprised by the productís instant success. We always have a booth at the annual AARP convention, and Pain Relief Rub is our most popular product. Last year, we offered free foot massages using Pain Relief Rub and the customers loved it, especially after being on their feet all day! They were bringing all their friends back to our booth. We believe that retail customers will spread the word about this product in the same way, and will help make it an even greater success. Originally developed by a chemist to treat his mothers arthritis, Pain Relief Rub is formulated to be absorbed and act very quickly without heat or cold. Many customers swear by it. Audrey Cortez, a Fayetteville artist, says, The arthritis in my hands makes them so stiff and achy, sometimes I just cant get my fingers moving. But I liked Pain Relief Rub immediately because it really relieved the pain and gave my fingers the flexibility I needed. Customers also use the rub for back and muscle aches, to ease stiffness after exercising and even to relieve the pain and itching of insect bites. Currently, Pain Relief Rub can only be purchased locally at Jones Pharmacy, located on Ga. Highway 85 in Fayetteville.
