ObituariesLois Mifflin Daves Lois Mifflin Daves, 63, Tyrone, died Oct. 23, 2004. She was born May 30, 1941. Services were at Fayetteville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Ellis and the Rev. Chris Perkins officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband, Milton A. Daves, Tyrone; sons, Milton A. Daves Jr., Dover, Del., and Juvonn Daves, Tyrone; daughters, Alice Dozier, and Pamela Haynes, both of Chesapeake, Va.; and brothers, Harry Mifflin, Carlo Mifflin, Cary Mifflin, and Larry Mifflin. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. Patricia Jean Miller Patricia Jean Miller, 62, Fayetteville, died Oct. 25, 2004. She was born March 4, 1942 in Bryson City, N. C. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Ed Lynch officiating. Survivors include sons, Monty Miller, Jacksboro, Tenn., Marty and Mattie Miller, LaFollette, Tenn.; a grandson, Jacob Lloyd Miller; a brother, Joe T. and Dorothy Robinson, Winchester, Tenn.; and sisters, Marlene Harwell, Hampton, and Janis and Don Helton, Morristown, Tenn; and special friend, Charles Griffin, Fayetteville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. Walter Paul Greene Walter Paul Greene, 85, Fayetteville, died Oct. 27, 2004. He was born Dec. 26, 1918 in Atlanta. He was preceded in death by a son, Reggie Greene. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Forest Chapman officiating. Interment was at Holly Hill, Fairburn. Survivors include his wife, Martha Greene, Fayetteville; daughters, Wanda and Ray Brannon, Hapeville, Elaine and Warren Sims, Peachtree City, and Denise Melly, Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Norma Ayers, Cumming. Kendrick, 87, Peachtree City, died Oct. 28, 2004. He was born June 4, 1917 in Atlanta. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel, with the Rev. Steve Bingham officiating. Survivors include his wife, Sara H. Kendrick, Peachtree City; a son, Thomas Byron Kendrick, Charlotte, N. C.; daughters, Ann and Richard Dobrow, Stone Mountain, and Kathy Kendrick, Duluth, Ga.; and a grandson, Christopher Kendrick Dobrow, Stone Mountain. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge. Doris Virginia Lueders Walker Doris Virginia Lueders Walker, 85, Union City, formerly of Jacksonville, Fla. died Oct. 29, 2004. She was born March 13, 1919 in Duval County, Fla., the daughter of Louie and Lona Lueders, the first of six children. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Charlie Walker, a son, Andy Walker, and brothers, Louie Lueders Jr., and Jimmie Lueders. Graveside services were at College Park (Georgia) Cemetery with the Rev. Wally Woodcock officiating. Survivors include daughters, Linda and Herb Allen, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Penny and Richard Moore, Fayetteville; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack Lueders, Jacksonville, Fla.; and sisters, Connie Swain, Jacksonville, Fla., and Peggy Kalapp, West Palm Beach, Fla. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, East Point, was in charge. |
