Landmark students
get special visit from firefighter
In conjunction with Fire Safety Awareness
Month, Landmark second graders received a special visit from Jim
Fleming of the Fulton County Fire Department. Fleming talked with
the children
about many aspects of fire safety including the importance of testing
their home smoke detectors and having a family evacuation plan. At
the conclusion of his talk, firefighter Fleming showed the students
what
he wears for protection when he enters a burning building.
