Starr’s Mill boys and girls, McIntosh girls win region

Starr’s Mill and Fayette County finished first and second in the region 4-AAAAA cross country championships in both the boys and girls division. The Starr’s Mill boys took the first four spots in their race, with Bradley Morris capturing the region champion title, while Fayette County’s Claire Bergstrom took first in the girls’ race.

In the region 4-AAAA race, McIntosh’s boys placed fifth, Sandy Creek placed seventh and Whitewater High School placed 12th, while the McIntosh girls won the region, with Emily Borsare as the region champion, and Sandy Creek placed seventh.
